I climbed these stairs for the specific purpose of looking down to get what I could of the beautiful spindles and stairs while keeping the bench at the bottom in the photo. This was taken at the Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs Arkansas which is one of the oldest hotels in the area and what was considered home to Al Capone and his gang where they still have his Suite in place for guests who want to stay there.
My love for photography stems from my love for nature, landscapes and animals. I try to capture the animals in their natural setting. I am awed by sunsets and sunrises and will go out of my way to capture that perfect colorful scene. Vast landscapes are amazing to me but I also like close up landscapes where I can capture a bit more of the texture. I truly love B&W and will transform a photo just by turning it B&W or with a Pop of Color. Waterfalls are fabulous and you will see many waterfalls in my collection of photos. My favorite animals to shoot are peacocks and horses and I will shoot them from all angles as well as close-ups.
